Role Overview
As a Software Engineer – SRE, you’ll build and maintain highly reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure for the Albert platform. This role emphasizes automation, observability, and operational excellence, ensuring seamless deployment and performance of core services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineering to deliver scalable and reliable platform capabilities.
- Work with the SRE team on shared full-stack ownership of services.
- Design and deliver mission-critical stacks with focus on security, resiliency, and performance.
- Own end-to-end performance and operability.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using deep knowledge of service topology and dependencies.

- Hands-on with AWS cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Experience with observability stacks (logs, metrics, tracing).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (CircleCI) and performance testing (K6).
- Ability to build low-latency APIs (<200 ms).
- Strong collaboration and mentoring skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
- Exposure to ML infrastructure or data engineering workflows.
