Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role covers Windows & Linux servers, network devices, firewalls, storage solutions, and enterprise applications, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Server Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Manage Linux machines for hosting and system services.
• Administer Application Servers and Biometric Servers for attendance/access control.
• Monitor server health, performance, and logs.
• Perform updates, patches, and security hardening.

💾 Storage & File Services

• Manage Samba File Servers for shared storage.
• Administer NAS storage (Synology) including allocation, permissions, and monitoring.
• Ensure secure data access and utilization.

🌐 Network Infrastructure

• Configure and manage Sophos Firewall (rules, NAT, VPN, threat protection).
• Maintain Cisco & Netgear switches (VLANs, segmentation).
• Manage wireless access points for secure connectivity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance.

🔒 Proxy & Security

• Install and maintain Proxy Servers for internet access control.
• Monitor firewall logs and implement security policies.
• Protect infrastructure against unauthorized access.
