๐ŸŒŸ Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Head – P&L Owner (Food Brand) to lead, scale, and profitably operate a nationwide food retail vertical. This role requires end-to-end P&L ownership, FOCO/FOFO investor acquisition, multi-outlet operations excellence, and strategic leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in QSR or branded food businesses, with experience in scaling multi-location operations and raising capital for expansion.

✅ Mandatory Criteria

  • 15–20 years of experience in QSR / Cafeteria chains / Branded food businesses / Franchise-led food brands
  • Proven end-to-end P&L ownership experience
  • Strong exposure to FOCO / FOFO / Franchise business models
  • Experience in multi-location, pan-India operations
  • Proven ability to raise capital and close investors
  • Hands-on experience in scaling food brands
  • Background from reputed food/QSR brands (CCD, McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Burger King, Chai Point, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of FSSAI & food compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality / Business (MBA preferred)

FOCO Investor Sales & Capital Raising

  • Design and execute FOCO/FOFO investor acquisition strategy
  • Conduct investor meetings, pitches, negotiations, and closures
  • Present ROI models, profitability projections, and unit economics
  • Build investor confidence and manage post-investment relationships

Business Concept & Positioning

  • Define cafeteria/kiosk formats for high streets, malls, corporates, and institutions
  • Optimize menu architecture, pricing strategy, and service models
  • Ensure commercial viability and repeat consumption across formats

Pre-Opening & Establishment

  • Lead site identification, feasibility analysis, and negotiations
  • Oversee layout planning, design, equipment, and vendor onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, fire, and municipal regulations
  • Manage simultaneous multi-city launches at scale

Operations & Scale Management

  • Own daily operations across all outlets
  • Implement SOPs for kitchen hygiene, food quality, inventory, and customer service
  • Recruit, train, and manage area managers, store managers, and staff
  • Ensure operational excellence and brand consistency nationwide

Financial Management & P&L Ownership

  • Drive revenue growth, EBITDA margins, and cost optimization
  • Track outlet-level profitability and investor ROI
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance dashboards
  • Ensure profitability and scalability of the vertical

Marketing & Growth Strategy

  • Collaborate on local store marketing, launch campaigns, and promotions
  • Identify expansion opportunities and new formats
  • Build a roadmap to scale 400–500 profitable outlets nationwide

Team & Governance

  • Build and lead cross-functional teams across sales, ops, and supply chain
  • Act as single-point owner between investors, vendors, and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with food industry regulations and company policies
