🌟 Role Overview

Join our Data Operations team and help build scalable, efficient, and well‑documented data models that power seamless data usage across the company. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and analysts to migrate dbt models, optimize infrastructure, and ensure high‑quality data products.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Support migration of dbt models from Redshift & Snowflake to Trino (Iceberg).
• Refactor SQL syntax and optimize models for performance & compatibility.
• Manage version control of dbt models via Git.
• Align Tableau assets with new infrastructure and validate workbook impacts.
• Collaborate in daily standups to execute migration priorities efficiently.

🎓 Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years in data engineering, BI, or analytics.
• 1+ years in financial services or SaaS.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Redshift, Snowflake, Trino).
• Hands‑on experience with dbt, Git, Tableau.
• Startup experience is a plus.

💡 Competencies

• Deep understanding of dbt (macros, Jinja templating).
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven ability to refactor SQL/dbt models for infrastructure migrations.
