Role Overview

As a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), you’ll ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software. You’ll design automated test frameworks, create test suites, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to continuously improve testing strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functionality and performance.
• Design testing frameworks and tools to improve automation efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to define test requirements and plans.
• Write and execute unit, integration, regression, and performance tests.
• Debug and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor release quality via test coverage, defect trends, and metrics.
• Document and maintain reusable test cases.
• Stay updated with latest testing tools and automation trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience as SDET/QA Engineer with focus on automation.
• Strong expertise in frameworks/tools: Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience in test automation for web, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Jira).
• SQL knowledge for validating test data.
• Experience in API testing and RESTful services.
