We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead technical architecture, hands-on development, and team building for a cutting-edge SaaS platform at the intersection of AI, 3D, and XR technologies. This role requires deep expertise in React/Next.js, Node.js/Python, AWS, WebGL/Three.js, and AI/ML deployment, with proven success in scaling engineering teams and building high-performance systems.

✅ Mandatory Criteria

• 9+ years of engineering experience, with 3–4 years in technical leadership
• Hands-on expertise with React/Next.js, Node.js/Python, and AWS
• Ability to design scalable architectures for high-performance systems
• AI/ML deployment experience (CV, generative AI, 3D reconstruction)
• Strong knowledge of 3D graphics/WebGL/Three.js
• Candidates must be from SaaS/Software/IT Services startups or scaleups

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Architect full-stack platform across frontend, backend, infra, and AI
• Scale systems for rendering, AR deployment, and analytics
• Lead design reviews and set engineering standards

Hands-On Development

• Write production-grade code across stack and infra
• Build scalable backend services and optimize performance
• Implement AI/ML pipelines for 3D generation and recognition
• Develop WebGL/Three.js rendering workflows

Team Building & Management

• Hire and grow engineering teams from 5 → 20+
• Establish engineering culture, values, and best practices
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with product and design teams on roadmap execution
• Support sales and customer success with technical integrations
• Influence product strategy with technical insights

Engineering Operations & Infrastructure

• Own CI/CD, testing frameworks, deployments, and automation.
• Manage AWS infra with focus on cost and performance
• Ensure enterprise-grade security, compliance, and reliability
