Role Overview

As an SDE III – Core CRM, you’ll own backend systems end-to-end, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. This is a system ownership role, not just ticket execution. You’ll design distributed systems, optimize APIs, and build resilient architectures that handle burst traffic and real-time state sync.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend System Ownership: Design and evolve Node.js/NestJS services for scale.
• API Craftsmanship: Build well-typed REST contracts with backward compatibility.
• Data at Scale: Model and optimize MongoDB/Firestore schemas for high workloads.
• Scalability & Resilience: Implement queues, caching, and rate limiting.
• Frontend Integration: Ship modular Vue 3 UIs with optimized state management.
• Observability: Instrument logs, metrics, traces, and alerts; participate in on-call.
• Mentorship: Review code, support junior engineers, and raise engineering standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong backend-heavy fullstack background.
• Deep comfort with Node.js + TypeScript.
• Experience with NestJS/Express microservices.
• Modern frontend experience (Vue 3 or similar).
• Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, concurrency, rate limiting.
• Real production debugging experience.
• Cloud-native familiarity (AWS/GCP).
• CI/CD and containerization knowledge.
