Role Overview

Forbes Advisor is seeking a Staff / Senior Staff Full Stack Engineer (Frontend-Heavy) to join its product engineering team. This is a hands-on, high-impact technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in React, Node.js, cloud infrastructure, and databases.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Product, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver robust systems while mentoring senior engineers and driving engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Technical Ownership
• Architect and design scalable full-stack systems across multiple services.
• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Drive decisions on system design, scalability, performance, and security.
• Hands-On Development
• Write clean, production-grade code in React + TypeScript and Node.js + TypeScript.
• Build and maintain REST & GraphQL APIs.
• Develop reusable frontend and backend components.
• Scalability, Performance & Security
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection).
• Ensure compliance with OWASP, GDPR, CCPA standards.
• Collaboration & Leadership
