🌟 Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Technician 4 to support HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems operations. This role requires a valid Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License, strong troubleshooting skills, and hands‑on experience with mechanical systems, chillers, and cooling towers.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and local building codes.

• Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS platforms.

• Perform preventive maintenance on chillers, cooling towers, and VAV systems.

• Utilize Microsoft Office and Outlook for reporting and documentation.

• Safely perform tasks in confined spaces and on building roofs.

🎓 Must-Have Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with HVAC/mechanical systems.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and building codes.

• Proficiency with computer-based systems.

• Physical ability to work in demanding environments.

💡 Good to Have

• Massachusetts Refrigeration Contractor License.

• EPA certification for refrigerant handling.

• Experience with centrifugal chillers and cooling tower systems.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics.

🌍 Nice to Have

• Experience with commercial boiler systems.

• Background in industrial building maintenance.

• Knowledge of emergency power and backup systems.
