๐ Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop firmware for safety‑critical munition systems. This role requires deep expertise in ARM Cortex‑M platforms, embedded C/C++/Rust, and hardware communication protocols, with a strong focus on reliability, testability, and performance.
๐ Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded firmware for ARM Cortex‑M systems.
Work with interrupts, DMA, clocks, timers, low‑power modes, linker scripts, and memory maps.
Implement and debug I²C, SPI, UART, USB CDC communication protocols.
Build state machines for real‑world hardware applications.
Ensure testability and host testing discipline.
Collaborate on safety‑critical firmware and secure bootloader implementations.
๐ Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years of embedded firmware experience on ARM Cortex‑M (or comparable).
Strong skills in C, C++, or Rust.
Hands‑on debugging with scope/logic analyzers.
Proven experience with state machines and hardware integration.
Working proficiency in English (written and verbal).
๐ก Good to Have
Experience with Rust embedded ecosystems (Embassy, embedded‑hal, defmt, probe‑rs, RTIC, no_std).
Knowledge of Modern C++ (C++17/20) in firmware.
Background in async firmware (Embassy, Zephyr, FreeRTOS).
Safety‑critical firmware experience (ISO 26262, DO‑178C, IEC 61508).
Bootloader / DFU / secure‑boot expertise.
๐ Nice to Have
Experience with FPV / UAV firmware (Betaflight, MAVLink, INAV).
Familiarity with C FFI / SDK bindings.
Strong interest in UAV and embedded robotics applications.
