Role Overview

Seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead all technology initiatives for its US business. This role is ideal for someone who combines engineering leadership with deep AI product-building experience — someone who can code, lead, and innovate simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

🧑‍💻 Technical Leadership

• Own end-to-end architecture, development, and deployment of AI-driven platforms.
• Define the technology roadmap with the Founder.
• Oversee AI/ML feature development (LLM integrations, automation workflows, backend systems).
• Ensure scalability, security, uptime, and performance across deployments.
• Guide engineers on RAG pipelines, voicebot logic, and LLM prompt optimization.

🔧 Hands-On Contribution

• Actively contribute to the core codebase (Python/FastAPI/Node).
• Lead by example in code reviews, architecture design, and debugging.
• Experiment with LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral, etc.).

📦 Product & Delivery Management

• Translate client requirements into technical specifications.
• Oversee release management, QA, and DevOps pipelines.
• Handle technical escalations and integration requests.
• Drive AI feature innovation for automation and predictive insights.

👥 Team Management

• Manage and mentor an 8–10 member engineering team.
• Conduct sprint reviews, define coding standards, and ensure timely delivery.

🌍 Client-Facing & Operational Ownership

• Join client calls (US hospitals) to understand requirements.
• Collaborate with the Founder on technical presentations and POCs.
• Own infrastructure, integrations, uptime, and client satisfaction for US projects.

Technical Requirements

Must-Have:

• 5–7 years in software engineering, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral, Whisper, LangChain.
• Expertise in AI/ML model integration, LLMs, RAG pipelines.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS/GCP), Docker, CI/CD.
• Strong backend architecture and SaaS/conversational AI experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with telephony & voice tech stacks (Twilio, Exotel, Asterisk).
