Key Responsibilities

• Optimize indexing strategies, sharding, replication, and query execution.
• Implement cross-cluster and multi-tenant search solutions.
• Design real-time and batch indexing pipelines for structured/unstructured data.
• Manage schema design, field mappings, tokenization, and multilingual search analyzers.
• Ensure security best practices (encryption, RBAC, IAM, audit logging).
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks for high availability and resilience.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams on platform delivery.

• Programming skills in Node.js and Python; experience with OpenSearch SDKs.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, DSL queries, aggregation frameworks.
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana).
• Experience managing OpenSearch clusters (AWS, containers, self-hosted).
• Strong understanding of security practices (RBAC, encryption, IAM).
• Familiarity with multi-region, distributed search architectures.
