๐ Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager – Business Development to take ownership of supply sourcing and regional P&L in the intercity travel sector. This role requires strong commercial acumen, vendor management expertise, and the ability to drive exponential growth through effective negotiations, stakeholder management, and execution excellence.
✅ Mandatory Criteria
- 3–6 years of experience in Business Development, Supply, Vendor Management, or Regional Operations
- Proven experience owning regional/route-level P&L (revenue, cost, margin decisions)
- Strong vendor sourcing and negotiation experience (transport, logistics, fleet, or bus operators preferred)
- Ability to identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and onboard supply partners
- Strong commercial negotiation skills with contract, pricing, and risk management experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills — act as a single point of contact between internal teams and external partners
- Ability to collaborate with Operations, Demand, and Customer Support teams to drive execution and service quality
- Strong decision-making capability with experience taking day/week/month-level P&L decisions
- Proficiency in Excel for analysis, reporting, and performance tracking (mandatory)
- Language proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English
- Willingness to travel frequently within Mumbai and intercity as per business needs
- High ownership mindset with a quality-first, execution-driven approach

- Act as the point of contact between stakeholders and suppliers, sharing end-user feedback
- Drive growth through planning and seamless execution with Operations, Demand, and Customer Support teams
- Take key business decisions related to P&L ownership on daily, weekly, and monthly levels
