🌟 Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Engineer specializing in Hardware Application Engineering with a focus on Board & System Design. This role requires deep expertise in high‑speed networking, SerDes, PCB design, and system architecture, with proven leadership in customer engagement and full lifecycle hardware development.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Lead board and system design for high‑speed platforms involving modern SerDes (25G NRZ through 112G/224G PAM4).

• Own the full lifecycle of complex high‑speed boards: architecture, schematic, layout guidance, and bring‑up.

• Drive PCB stack‑up design and material selection for high‑layer‑count boards.

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to deliver hardware solutions aligned with business needs.

• Provide technical leadership in power architecture, thermal design, and SI/PI principles.

🎓 Must-Have Qualifications

• PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• 15+ years of hardware design, development, and validation experience in high‑speed networking or compute systems.

• 7+ years of dedicated board and system design experience for high‑speed platforms.

• Proven expertise in SerDes, PCB design, power architecture, and thermal design.

• Strong track record of customer engagement and technical leadership.

💡 Good to Have

• Direct experience with Ethernet switch platforms or emerging AI fabric standards.

• Background in megascale data center deployments.

• Familiarity with ODM/CM manufacturing flows including DFM/DFT, qualification, and reliability testing.

🌍 Nice to Have

• Fluency with EDA tools (Cadence Allegro/Sigrity or Mentor/Siemens Xpedition/HyperLynx).

• Experience influencing silicon and platform roadmaps based on customer insights.

• Knowledge of advanced cooling approaches for high‑performance systems.
