Role Overview

Seeking a Lead Architect / Senior Fullstack Engineer to act as the technical owner of a new consumer-facing financial product.

This is a 0→1 product — early architectural decisions will compound for years. The role is about safely stitching together high-risk systems (money movement, KYC, wallets, verification, agent flows) into a coherent, scalable product.

You’ll work closely with product leadership, stay deeply hands-on in production code, and help build and lead the technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement backend systems for correctness-critical workflows (ledgers, balances, transaction states).
• Design and build integration-heavy systems (KYC, wallets, verification services, vaults, financial APIs).
• Own system invariants and failure modes, ensuring safe money movement, retries, reconciliation, and edge cases.
• Build and evolve agentic automation flows coordinating execution across multiple systems.
• Develop core frontend surfaces (web, admin, internal tools) and collaborate with React Native engineers.
• Set up and maintain DevOps foundations (CI/CD, monitoring, alerts, operational playbooks).
• Act as a technical decision-maker and mentor, raising the bar for design, code quality, and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on verification, correctness, and trust primitives.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5–8+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with strong backend depth.
• Prior experience in consumer fintech, payments, wallets, or financial infrastructure.
• Expertise in schema design, data modeling, consistency models, fault-tolerant systems.
• Strong systems thinking: invariants, race conditions, retries, idempotency, data integrity.
• Hands-on with third-party API integrations (KYC, payments, identity, compliance).
• Solid DevOps instincts (deployments, infra decisions, operational reliability).
• Frontend experience with React + TypeScript.
• Comfort in 0→1 environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
• Strong ownership mindset — proactive in defining specs and solutions.
